Our Ministries

Marriage Class

We believe in strengthening families at Immanuel Assembly.

Part of that process includes a weekly Sunday School class designed to help husbands be the best husbands they can be and wives be the best wives they can be. So, whether your marriage is in trouble and is in need of an “Extreme Makeover” or you already have a good marriage and you want it to be better yet, this class is for you. You’ll have fun, be challenged and learn God’s plan for your relationship.

Pastor Wengerd teaches this class every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.

Construction Zone Kid’s Church is a weekly service for kids that takes place during our adult morning worship service. It is packed with singing, worship, prayer and activities that help our children grow in the love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our wonderful kid’s church workers are dedicated to leading the children into into the presence of the Lord each and every Sunday.

Nursery is the place where our children are rocked, sang to, and loved as they begin their little lives being introduced to this wonderful world of church. We have loyal and loving nursery workers that will treat your children as their own. We love children and we love families here at Immanuel.

Women’s Ministries is an integral part of many of the activities that take place in our church.  It is our goal to be a blessing to all the women in our church as well as reaching out beyond our walls into our communities. We promote fellowship, spiritual growth as well as reaching out in evangelism through our Angel Tree banquet each year. We have room for YOU!

Honorbound Men’s Ministries is a time for the men of our church to meet for instruction, discussion, and various other activities. We welcome all men to come and be a part of our time together.

KIDS are a very important part of Immanuel Asssembly of God.  We provide all types of opportunities to help them grow in their relationship with our God.  In addition to our Sunday morning Construction Zone Kid’s Church, we provide classes on Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings that are just for kids.

Amplify is the name of our youth group. We have cutting edge teaching on current topics and many activities that you can be a part of. We meet every Wednesday night at 7:00pm in our Youth Center.

Internationals

There are several ways we are serving the needs of the international community we are a part of.

  • We offer ESL Classes (English as a Second Language)
    for those desiring to learn the English language. The classes can accommodate people from various ethnic backgrounds at once an is Christian-based.

This group meets at 6:00pm on Tuesdays.

  • For those desiring to impact people who do not speak or read English, we can help.
    In our foyer, you will find a theologically-sound and well-written gospel tract in various languages. They include:Japanese Polish
    Vietnamese Arabic
    Czech Chinese
    German Korean
    Spanish

The Journey

Aren’t you glad God made us all different with various interests and abilities? Our Journey Small Group classes are designed with this in mind. On Sunday evenings at 6:00p.m., we offer a wide array of classes designed to inspire, challenge and equip you. And along the way you’re sure to have fun and meet some new friends.

We call our classes “The Journey” because we are all on this journey together to become closer to God and closer to each other.

We hope you’ll find your place in our Journey classes. Please note new classes begin approximately every quarter. Call our office to hear our listing of current classes. Past classes have included Financial Peace University, The 10 Commandments of Working in a Hostile Environment, Make up Your Mind Make Over Your Body, The Holy Spirit and Prayer.  We have also had classes about being HUNGRY for more of the Lord and the moving of His Spirit as well as a class specifically for women called Captivating, another for men only called No More Christian Nice Guy, and a class for singles called Singles Servings.

Domestic Violence

If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence, there is hope.

Abundant Life Counseling Ministries is an extension of our church.
